Announcement of a Faculty Opening for a Dean of the Austrian Business School
Three partner institutions - LIMAK JKU Business School (oldest business school in Austria), the Johannes Kepler University and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria – will merge to create the Austrian Business School and initiate a pioneer project in the area of post-graduate education. The Johannes Kepler University Linz is seeking applications for Dean of the Austrian Business School. The ideal candidate will continue to further develop an established, well-known business school and aspire to build a growing and distinctive business program to be recognized as one of the top programs among its peers in Europe.In support of all goals and objectives, the dean is expected to be instrumental in all areas of strategic planning and performance

The foundation for your job duties and responsibilities has been laid:
- a well established business school with highly qualified staff, an international faculty that has been well integrated into the LIMAK for many years, partnership agreements and cooperation with renowned universities worldwide, an experienced and ambitious team located in a European region of industry and innovation.
- an established structure designed together by stakeholders (local
authorities, businesses) and partners aimed at the advancement of the Austrian
Business School as well as fulfilling the criteria to acquire international
accreditation (including a vision for the future, portfolio, budget plan, legal
framework, infrastructure, personnel and a time line).
